This $196,268,800.00 dollar contract is for adding lanes to I-95 from south of Fiske Blvd to Palm Bay Road. The project scope includes widening bridges at Eau Gallie and Lake Washington . Construction of new bridges at US-192 and Wickham Road and a new interchange at the Pineda Causeway.  

The original contract duration was 1200 days which includes the design and construction.  The completion date is adjusted due to delays from weather, hurricanes, holidays, and unexpected delays, with a current contract time of 1362 days.  The project started on April 07, 2008, and the projected completion date is January 15, 2012 

A $5,000,000.00 bonus was offered if the Contractor completed  the project by December 31, 2010.  If the project is not complete on that date, the bonus amount is reduced $25,000.00 per day.  The bonus was not achieved.

Community Asphalt is the general contractor. The project length is 18 miles.
