Description: The improvements under this Contract consist of reconstructing SR 79 from a 2-lane roadway to a 4-lane roadway. SR 79 will be constructed as a rural roadway from the beginning of the project to Crews Lake Road. North of Crews Lake Road to Strickland Road, SR 79 will be constructed to a suburban typical section in Washington County. Additional improvements will include construction of storm drain improvements, stormwater ponds, sidewalks, a mast arm signal system at the SR 79 / SR 20 intersection, and signing and pavement markings.
