This $148,000,000.00 dollar contract is for adding lanes to I-95 from SR-528 to Fiske Blvd.  The contract time is 950 days including the design and construction. The project started on March 01, 2007.  The original project completion date was November 29, 2009. This date has changed due to delays from weather, hurricanes, and unexpected delays.  Currently the contract time is 1035 Days with a final date of December 29, 2009.
Kiewit Southern Co., Inc is the general contractor.     The contract contains a bonus provision for early completion of the work.  The bonus is paid at the rate of $15,000.00 for each day the project is finished prior to 10/4/09 to a maximum of  $3,630,000.00.  The project length is 10.13 miles.  Project completed on July 14, 2009.
